Danco Communities is a workforce housing development company providing residential month-to-month leasing. Our mission is to provide quality housing for people whose incomes are 40-80% of their county median income. We work primarily in rural California communities north of San Francisco and Sacramento.
Danco Communities specializes in the use of tax credits, HOME funds, CDBG and Redevelopment funds in order to offer rents that, combined with tenants’ utilities, do not exceed one third of their monthly income. These projects can help cities and counties meet their state mandated housing element and contribute to a healthier local economy. Danco Communities’ affiliates maintain ownership of these developments for a minimum of 55 years, ensuring that they are extremely well-managed and well-maintained.
